Imaging VGOS Observations and Investigating Source Structure Effects

چکیده

The next-generation, broadband geodetic very long baseline interferometry system, named VGOS, is being developed globally with an aim to achieve 1 mm accuracy for station positions. Currently, the systematic errors in VGOS delays are still about 20 ps. In this study, we demonstrate that it feasible make images directly from observations without need of complicated calibrations and determine source structure effects through process model fitting phases our imaging results. Source investigated detail, shown well explained by these effects. For instance, root-mean-square (RMS) closure sources 0016 + 731 1030 415 24.9 50.2 ps session VO0034, respectively; after correcting based on images, RMS values residual 5.5 10.1 jumps delay observables magnitudes several hundreds picoseconds found be caused 2? phase shifts among four bands due strong impact alignment at frequency discussed. Our study provides a methodology deriving radio discusses bands, which fundamental mitigating

Coincident Imaging and Spectrometric Observations of Zenith OH Nightglow Structure

During the ALOHA-90 campaign a novel comparative study was made between near infrared wave structure imaged in the zenith using a CCD camera and that detected at infrared wavelengths by a Fourier Transform Spectrometer. Coincident measurements were made briefly on several occasions and for an extended period on 31 March. The temporal variations imaged in the near infrared structure during this ...

Investigating cervical spinal cord structure using axial diffusion tensor imaging.

This study describes a new technique for Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) that acquires axial (transverse) images of the cervical spinal cord. The DTI images depict axonal fiber orientation, enable quantification of diffusion characteristics along the spinal cord, and have the potential to demonstrate the connectivity of cord white matter tracts. Because of the high sensitivity to motion of diffu...

Investigating Effects of Task Structure on EFL Learner’s Oral Performance

It is argued that tasks with different structures yield different performances in terms of accuracy, fluency and complexity. The present study is thus an attempt to investigate the impact of task structure on second language task performance. Thirty two upper-intermediate Iranian learners of English performed two narrative tasks (Structured vs. Unstructured) based on cartoon scripts. The perfor...

the effects of changing roughness on the flow structure in the bends

flow in natural river bends is a complex and turbulent phenomenon which affects the scour and sedimentations and causes an irregular bed topography on the bed. for the reason, the flow hydralics and the parameters which affect the flow to be studied and understand. in this study the effect of bed and wall roughness using the software fluent discussed in a sharp 90-degree flume bend with 40.3cm ...

Investigating Structure Domain Interoperability

Interoperability among structure domains is a rather new field of research. There are many different approaches which fit into it. This paper gives some examples of how users interact with different structures, a brief description of some interoperability related projects, and an outlook on our future work in this research area.
